Converse Elite Player Preparation Guide
At Converse Elite, we expect our athletes to show up prepared, focused, and ready to work.
Preparation is part of discipline—and discipline builds elite players.
TRYOUT DAY: WHAT TO BRING
All athletes must come ready to compete and be evaluated.
Required:
• Basketball shoes (court-ready)
• Athletic clothing (shorts & t-shirt)
• Water bottle
• Hair secured (if applicable)
Strongly Recommended:
• Towel
• Extra shirt
• Light snack (after tryouts)
❗ Tryout Expectations
• Arrive 15 minutes early
• Be ready to listen and follow instructions
• Hustle on every drill
• Positive attitude—no complaining, no quitting
Coaches are evaluating:
• Effort
• Coachability
• Skill level
• Team attitude
Practices are structured and fast-paced. Come ready.

• Be on time (early is on time)
• No distractions (phones away)
• Respect coaches and teammates
